Can I hover instead of click photo to expand it?

Can I hover/mouse over photos to expand them rather than click to expand?

I can see where this would be problematic with a touch tablet/screen since one doesn't hover. In which case, the photo simply expands by tap. That works perfectly on my iPad.

So I was just curious if hovering over a photo with the mouse can expand it for quick view instead of clicking it to expand.
