Memory Leak

All,
I think HighCharts has memory leaks, at least in Goggle Chrome.
I am seeing memory leakage in an application I am supporting which is using HighCharts.
So after a while Chrome is crashing.
Since it has third party code , which is would possibly leak memory also, I tried to isolate the problem.
So I stumbled upon, the online test page from HighCharts at
http://www.highcharts.com/tests/?file=m ... rt-destroy

I ran Chrome profiler before and after "Run 100 times" button is clicked
I saw that the memory usage was 2.53MB before button was clicked and
4.53 MB after the button was clicked ..
I ran the GC and it still was 4.53 MB.

This tells me -- the HighSofts own test code proves that HighCharts leaks memory in Chrome.
Please let me know if my interpretation is wrong .
If I am correct, can you give me some advice as how we go forward using high charts.
Best regards

Re: Memory Leak

I also suspect memory leakage in Highcharts, so would be glad to hear some advice how to deal with this, too..TIA

Re: Memory Leak

You are right in that we are not quite there with a zero memory delta yet, but it is getting better and better though.

Workaround: is to refresh the browser, but I guess that is not a real option.
